About Me

I’m a fully qualified Person-Centred and Experiential Counsellor and Psychotherapist, trained to MA level. I’m passionate about offering a warm and supportive space where you can explore whatever is on your mind. My practice is guided by warmth, empathy, and a genuine respect for each person’s unique journey.

I’ve personally faced challenging life experiences that tested my sense of self and resilience. Through my journey, I’ve learned to sit with my feelings, navigate life’s challenges, and grow into a stronger, more authentic version of myself. These experiences have taught me the power of self-compassion, reflection, and the importance of a safe, supportive space to explore who you are.

I have worked in both paid and voluntary counselling roles, supporting people from a wide range of backgrounds. These experiences have strengthened my skills and deepened my understanding of the many ways people experience life’s challenges.

I am registered with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and adhere to its ethical code of practice. I am committed to continual professional development, ensuring my work is informed by current best practice and research. I also receive regular professional supervision to support safe and ethical practice.

My approach is always person-centred, offering a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space for you to explore your feelings, rediscover your worth, and grow into the person you are meant to be -whole, valued, and enough, just as you are.

My Approach

The Heart of our Work: Self-Worth

At the heart of Self-Worth Counselling is a simple but powerful belief: when we embrace our worth, we reconnect with ourselves. So much of life’s pain stems from the quiet belief that we’re not enough — not good enough, not strong enough, not deserving enough. These feelings can show up as anxiety, low mood, relationship struggles, or a sense of feeling lost and disconnected. As a person-centred therapist, I offer a gentle, supportive space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace. I trust you already hold the capacity for growth and healing; my role is to help you reconnect with your sense of worth, understand what keeps you feeling stuck, and nurture a kinder, more compassionate relationship with yourself. My approach is warm and down-to-earth. Real healing happens when you feel safe, understood, and accepted exactly as you are. Together, we’ll work toward helping you feel more grounded, confident, and at peace — not by changing who you are, but by honouring your true self.

What Makes My Approach Different

My work focuses on self-worth as the foundation of emotional wellbeing. Rather than only focusing on symptoms or surface-level difficulties, we gently explore the deeper beliefs you hold about yourself and where they may have come from.

When we begin to understand and soften these internal beliefs, real and lasting change becomes possible — not by forcing change, but by developing greater self-acceptance and compassion.
